No better way to
start my blog then with a dedication to my best friend, my business partner and
my beloved mother, Sara Stevens.
Sara founded Candy Care in 2001, with the brilliant idea of creating a line of greeting cards with an edible piece of candy in the message.
This was my mom’s innovative way of embracing her amazing creativity and
brightening other people’s lives with her uplifting and very sweet new product
line.
My mom was one of
the most empowering, passionate, creative, loving, and heroic people I have
ever had the privilege of knowing (let alone being related to).
It is my honor to
continue her legacy and share her special gifts with the world every single
day. I am the person I am today
because of my mom and I could never thank her enough for all of the incredible
gifts she has given me throughout my life. She taught me to work hard, follow my dreams, ignore the
limitations set on me by society and other people and to trust and value my inner self, my higher self, my true creative
being. She taught me to be a strong, creative go-getter just like she was.
